Oh Gosh! TV pays a visit to 69 Colebrooke Row, one of London’s newest cocktail bars ran by bartending legend Tony Conigliaro. Pull up a stool and join Tony C as he makes an Oh Gosh!, a Daiquiri variation he created some years ago, and the cocktail this very site is named after!
Oh Gosh!
- 1½ shots / 45 ml / 1½ oz light rum
- ⅔ shot / 20 ml / ⅔ oz lime juice
- ½ shot / 15 ml / ½ oz Merlet triple sec
- 1-2 bar spoons sugar syrup
- Shake all ingredients with ice and strain in to a cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon zest twist.

Tony and his bar are also mentioned in this great NY Times article about cold distillation: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/02/dining/02curious.html

Tony,
Here in Central New York state, the only bars that can make it sell volume, and unfortunately most of it are crap-tinis. How does a small bar like yours manage to make any money? It seems as if you’d need to have a full house all day long just to make ends meet.
Cheers mate, and good luck with the new place!

Smart work!
Hey, I devised my own cocktail to take on a chain of bars. Do you know if anyone’s done my drink “The Bob” before?
